Over the past month we have been gathering Easter themed decor to bring a little spring into our home. This is a big step for me. Normally I don’t prefer to have traditional holiday-themed pieces around the house that I would have to pack up and store until next year. So we usually try to buy multi-use pieces that can be adapted and changed for each season and holiday. Living in a historic home also means less storage and closet space, so sometimes we must resist the urge to bring too many new objects home. A couple pieces that you might have seen in other posts include the terrariums and the wood disks.
I would love to say I’m a minimalist and style our home accordingly, but I love quirky accents that don’t fall into a particular genre too much. So I would say that I have minimalist tendencies, but scatter these fun quirky elements throughout the house too. Although we don’t have kids yet, we thought it would be fun to style these non-traditional Easter egg nest terrariums. We liked the idea of using terrariums for something different. And these little nests with Cadbury eggs couldn’t have suited them more perfectly.
