Wow. Our big cross-country move has certainly kept us busy for the past few months. If we haven’t kept you guys updated enough, it’s because we have been busy trying to get new drivers licenses, new insurance, adjust to a new city, learn new jobs, buy a house, make friends, and everything else new. And yes, it’s been super stressful and super exciting at the same time. It’s really quite funny how you think of something like moving, and you think, ‘I’ve done this before. It won’t be that bad. And it will really only take a few weeks to move and get into a house.’ We can tell you the reality is that it’s not like that. Everything that seems like it would only take a week could actually only take a week if everything goes as planned. But often times we’ve found that timing doesn’t always match the picture we had in our heads.
Aside from all of the stresses of moving and buying a house, we thought we’d share 4 ways to turn a big move into an adventure, inspired by the HP x360 four modes. In case you are unfamiliar with the HP x360 and its features, it has four modes: Laptop, Tablet, Tent, and Stand By. And one thing we love is that it features a touch screen, which makes it user-friendly and convenient for all of our blogging projects. HP is currently on tour with Meghan Trainor’s, “That Bass Tour,” and you can follow the fun along on the tour landing page.
So with our big move, here are 4 ways we have been able to make it less stressful and more of an adventure.
1. Turn your move into an adventure by making a roadtrip out of it!
Even if you’re moving to a different neighborhood within the same state, feel free to use your time off to take a side trip. Drive to a site you’ve always wanted to see and make the most of it! On our journey to Salt Lake City, Kaleb and his father were able to road trip across the country and do some site-seeing at the Hoover Dam.
