Now that the snow has melted here in Oklahoma, we had our first real site of spring this past weekend. The weather has been perfect, the sun has been shining, and it’s motivated us to do a little spring cleaning in our home and for our bodies. We have been feeling more in the mood for smoothies and salads as opposed to the good home cookin’ we enjoyed over the holidays. Give your body a spring cleaning by giving this simple and tasty recipe a try.

3 Bananas
1 c. Blackberries
1/2 c. Blueberries
2 Apples
1 Tbsp Spirulina
Splash of Coconut Water

Instructions: Place ingredients in a blender or vitamix and blend until smooth. (Tip: I added a splash of coconut water to make the smoothie a little more juice like).

    This looks so good! I want to start drinking more smoothies, especially now it’s getting more Spring-like here too.
