Our new favorite shop to buy flowers at is Dutch Floral and Home in Oklahoma City. We love Dutch because a.) they have really unique flowers that are hard to find elsewhere b.) they support local businesses and carry products from those businesses in their store c.) they have an amazing staff that even delivers florals daily! Courtney is the best! d.) they are literally down the road from our house. If that doesn’t give you enough reasons to order flowers from them right now, then I’m not sure what will convince you.

We saw that Dutch had these lovely Dragon flowers in and I had to stop by to grab a couple. I love how exotic and beautiful these are. They are so simple yet still gorgeous in their own unique way. I have recently been seeing the quote posted on Instagram and Pinterest, “A flower does not think of competing to the one next to it. It just blooms.” (Quote by Zen Shin Talks).  And I love how this flower reminded me of this in my own life. It’s so easy for me to compare myself all the time to the person I would like to be. ‘The grass is always greener’…as they say. But reading this quote and seeing this lovely flower reminds me that the best way to for each of us to show our true beauty is to bloom as the person we already are. We each have something unique to offer and there is a reason each of us was created. What better way to honor those gifts than to be the best at blooming in your own beauty?!

What a beautiful and unusual flower, I love that you support your local businesses in this way and get something wonderful out of it!

That is such a cool cool flower! It reminds me of the ones I would see when living abroad.
