I mentioned in my last flower post that I have recently been exploring new ways to display and share flowers in our home with you all. I have been wanting to put together some Brewed Together floral letters for quite some time, but have been waiting for the right time and way to put these together. I highly recommend putting together some floral foam inside the letters you put your flowers in if you plan on recreating these and displaying them at an event that will last more than 2 hours. However for this quick project, I was simply looking to create a display for a fun image. If you are looking to do the same, then I’d recommend this one! I chose to create these floral letters using hardier flowers (white roses and carnations) that can take a little beating and also not wilt too quickly so that they would still look crisp for the photos.

Step 1: Gather your materials. You will need a few varieties of hardy flowers, craft letters (I found these at Target, but Hobby Lobby also has them), garden sheers and hemp string.

Steps 2-3: Use your sheers to poke holes in your letters and in the top of your letters as well. Space your holes evenly throughout. String your hemp string through the holes in the top of the letters.

Step 4: Cut your flowers and fill in the holes in your letters. My roses tended to poof out a little too far and took away from the shape of my letters, so I removed some of the petals on several of them. Try to space your larger flowers out from each other so they are not completely taking over your letters. Hang your letters once complete or set them up on display!
