A few weeks ago, Kaleb and I went on a little road trip date to find a peach farm. However once we got out there, we were a little disappointed to find that the peach farm was closed due to running out of peaches for the season. 🙁 We decided to make the most of our trip by enjoying the local scenery out in the country and found some very cool old buildings – including this fabulous bright green wall at a park. Amongst other adventures for the day, we came across a few neighborhood garage sales and an awesome thrift store where Kaleb scored a film camera for $1.25! We’ll post photos once we develop the roll.
In the mean time, I’ve been wanting to share about this fun black and cream romper I found that makes an awesome summer go-to. I must say that I have always thought rompers were a little bit ‘trendy’ and maybe not for me, but I think it really just took me finding the right one to change my mind. They make a great way to stay dressed up, but also stay cool in the summer time. Also it gets pretty windy here in the midwest, so the fact that these are like shorts on the bottom is awesome because I still get the ‘dress’ look, but actually they are shorts too so they stay put! Another new love of mine this summer: hats. I may have purchased a few of them in the past few months simply because I am loving the style right now. I say when you find something that has that timeless look, you have to go for it while it’s out or you may not come across it again.
