Over the long weekend we decided we were just going to relax and take it easy. For the past couple of weeks we have had quite a bit going on, so this was a much-needed break for us. On Sunday we decided that after church we were going to check out a nice little brunch spot in Norman, OK that sells and brews Stumptown coffee. These happen to be two of our favorite things…coffee and breakfast! After enjoying several cinnamon roll pancakes and a cup of coffee, we set out to explore and hopefully work off a little of what we ate.
We walked around for about an hour snapping some photos and being goofy. And then we stumbled upon another coffee shop called Gray Owl Coffee. I know what you guys are thinking. And yep, we stopped in for another cup of coffee. This was a good opportunity to relax and post a few of the photos that we grabbed along the way. After finishing our second cup and enjoying the vibes of Gray Owl, we started to make our way back towards the car, but we had one last stop…Guestroom Records. Guestroom is one of my favorite record stores to go to; it has that classic ‘High Fidelity‘ record store vibe where you wouldn’t be surprised if John Cusak and Jack Black popped out of the back arguing about their top 5 lists. After flipping through several racks of records, we managed to find two that we had been looking for. One of them is a classic that I cant believe I haven’t bought yet. Cat Stevens: Tea for the Tillerman and the other is a new group that I have been jamming to at work for the past couple of weeks, Sbtrkt: From Arctic to Alpine. After leaving the Guestroom, we decided to head home to finish the day off relaxing and listening to music on the couch. Here are some photos from our day.
